- Full strategic and operational responsibility for the company
- Ongoing development of the business model and sustainable profitability
- Translation of Group strategy into local objectives, initiatives and structures
- Overall responsibility for budget, forecasting, performance monitoring and financial results
- Regular, structured reporting to the CEO DERTOUR Destination Management Companies (DMC)
- Leadership, development and steering of the organisation, including senior management and teams
- Continuous optimisation of processes, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency
- Development and governance of the product and service portfolio with a strong focus on innovation and customer value
- Responsibility for IT systems, digitalisation initiatives and implementation of new solutions
- Ensuring agreed service levels for internal and external customers
- Building, maintaining and strategically developing long-term customer and partner relationships
- Ensuring full compliance with all financial, governance and compliance requirements (DERTOUR / REWE Group)
- Active leadership in crisis and exceptional situations, including decision-making outside standard business hours
What You Bring
- Extensive senior leadership experience in the tourism industry, ideally within Destination Management Companies (DMC) or tour operator environments
- Profound understanding of DMC processes and international, group-based organisational structures
- Proven track record in leading international, intercultural and remote teams
- Strong experience in international HR management, including assignments under Swiss employment law
- Excellent strategic, analytical and commercial acumen
- High affinity for digital solutions and proven experience in implementing tools and optimising complex processes
- Confident, decisive leadership style with strong stakeholder and conflict management capabilities in an international context
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level
- Strong customer and relationship orientation
- German language skills at C1 level or higher and business-fluent English, both written and spoken
- Residence in Switzerland is mandatory; cross-border commuters will not be considered for this role
- Willingness to travel regularly and to participate in virtual meetings on Swiss public holidays
- High level of resilience, personal responsibility and reliability, particularly in crisis situations
